Hot Hair Trend Alert!

What do you get when you take two of the seasons most trendy hairstyles, the bun and the braid, and put them together? 

A laid back, but also high-fashion hair style that works for any occasion! 

This looks like it takes a lot of time to create, but believe us when we say it's pretty much effortless. You can start the braid on the top of your head, or change it up by starting from the back of your neck and work up toward the top. Then twist the bun and hold it with a hair tie and you're good to go!

Let's be honest, this is the perfect style if you fell asleep with wet hair and have work or school the next morning ;)

Say YES To Suede All Year Round!

Summer may be out, but suede is STILL in!

In case you haven't purchased a pair of suede shoes yet, it's about time you do.  Suede was hot this summer, and it works perfectly for fall too, trust me!

A lot of women prefer to keep suede shoes in their closets until late fall or winter.  However, there really aren't any "rules" when it comes to wearing suede shoes, which is why a lot of sandals and peep toe shoes are in suede this season.  Although the material can typically be warmer on your toes, there are many options to avoid that.  For instance, SHI by Journeys offers incredible suede sandals and pumps in great summer colors that also translate into fall.  While the weather is still pretty warm and transitioning into fall, try a peep toe pump or even a peep toe ankle boot.

A lot of new SHI suede products do a great job of incorporating a summer AND a fall color into one shoe (we're so smart).  For instance,  a black pump with a splash of neon pink (above) keeps the shoe flirty for summer, but also is perfect for fall.  Add a pair of black skinny jeans or a cute pencil skirt and you're set for the end of summer, fall and if the weather permits, winter.
